East Golf Club is located on Florida’s space coast
and was designed by Joe Lee. He is probably the best
designer working in Florida today and Viera East is
one of his newest creations, having opened in the late
spring of 1994. Some of Joe Lee’s best known work
are his courses at Walt Disney World. For Viera East,
he fashioned a beautiful layout out of a swampy, featureless
tract of land. My recreation of Viera East was released
in May of 1995. The course was created for a Prodigy
members’ tournament, The Ham Hoc Tour, that is
run by Russ Beckner. More details on Viera East Golf
Club can be found in the text file that is included
with the course.
