Saguaro Canyon Title

Saguaro Canyon’s Course Routing

aguaro Canyon is set in Scottsdale, Arizona and was my first venture into designing a desert golf course. It was released in July of 1993. While JNSE’s limited terrain features make such a design difficult at best, the desert theme is probably one of my favorites because of its harsh beauty. To simulate desert wash in JNSE, I utilized a method of terrain mixing. To play Saguaro Canyon well, you basically need to hit your shots straight. Anything off the fairway and into the desert can mean a big score. More details on Saguaro Canyon can be found in the text file that is included with the course.

Saguaro Canyon’s Hole 4The 4th hole is nestled along the canyon.
